Data we collect:
- play codes
- board state
- landmine positions
- timers
- timestamps
- a random guest id
- Expo push token (if granted)
- platform/app version
- Supabase/Expo also receive standard metadata like IP addresses to deliver the service.
How we use it:
- operate matches
- deliver notifications
- secure/debug the service
- we do not run ads and do not sell your data.
Where stored/processed:
- Supabase (hosting/database) and Expo (push delivery) act as processors
- we do not share with advertisers.
Retention:
- gameplay data is kept while needed to operate matches
- local data lives on your device—uninstalling/clearing app data removes local storage.
- Request deletion of server data at hello@gameofchancechess.com.
Children: the app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we collected a child’s info, email hello@gameofchancechess.com and we will review and delete any information we have about that child.
Security: we use hosted processors and standard safeguards, but no service is 100% secure.
Consumer rights: if your local law gives you non-waivable privacy rights (such as access, correction, or deletion), those rights still apply.
Governing law: this policy is governed by New Jersey law; disputes relating to it will be handled in New Jersey courts, except where your local mandatory privacy rights require otherwise.
